Works well for pistols and rifles. Weight range is ideal for most needs. If you have a long range rifle with a super light trigger, this may not measure low enough for you. Otherwise, this is a great tool for most guns. Pros: good weight range, easy to use Cons: a little big

This is the first time for me to use a'' trigger pull scale''.. Easy and uncomplicated to use.. It is a benefit to know the trigger weight of your rifle especially when you can't quite figure out why you pull off on one gun but not the other . Now I can check and know if the trigger weight is the source of the flinch or something else. The increments on the scale at easy to read also.

Simple, easy to use, measurable result. What more could you ask for. The scale is in 2 oz graduations. It is quick to use. I'd buy again. I have a Lyman Electronic Trigger Pull Gauge and I much prefer this one.

I really like using this trigger pull guage. Markigns are easy to read, and the readings per 3 tries as recommended in the package insert were identical on the first trigger measured. Follow-up measurements on other firearms were also consistent and appear accurate. I wish the scale went beyond 8 pounds for double action handguns, but useful adjusting trigger pulls on rifles. I'd recommend it.

Nice little unit does the trick. I verified the scale with dead weights at 2.5# & 5# and it was on the money. Doesn't come with an extension adapter that extents the hook that contacts the trigger, so you have to hold the hook on the trigger while pulling on the scale, other wise the hook slips off the trigger when pulling on the scale. It serves my purposes just fine. Pros: Does what its suppose to do at a desent price Cons: No extension adapter

There are other more expensive trigger scales out there. This one is inexpensive but it is most easy to use. Lock down the firearm, set the trigger, and pull the trigger with scale. Look at the scale and there you go. I used it on one my rifles, it was dead on 3 pounds ten times in a row. Good info to have if you are curious or planning some trigger work. Well built product.

I always like to check the trigger pull on a new firearm and check it again after I have broken it in. This tool is perfect for that purpose. I also use it to test triggers that I have worked on to make sure they are set to my shooting preference. Very handy for anyone who is into gunsmithing.

Simple, consistent and fairly quick. Not sure about accuracy— second gen Glock 17 showing 8 pounds, Sig p238 registering 7 pounds. The learning curve is about as fast as anything you could hope for. Overall, very good—recommended.

The Wieler scope outside was the original purchase and this was a bonus a tester trigger set in which is only max trigger pool weight is 10 pounds and other than that it is not digital is analog and this tricky to use like any other you have to pull from a certain angle to get a good rating Mosaic guns are heavy Compare two rifles and less you have competition trigger so good to have in case you wanna test and see what you got

The Wheeler trigger pull scale is good for the money, but the trigger tip is to slippery and slips out as you pull the scale back. Pros: Good value for the money Cons: The rubberrized tip slips from the trigger

This scale is simple to use, inexpensive, and tells me what I want to know. Accuracy? I checked it on a trigger bought from Timney and custom adjusted by them, and it was spot on. I should have bought one long ago. Pros: Inexpensive, easy to use Cons: None

Received mine 11/7/15 Works great, the first time that I used it my trigger pull was 4Lbs I adjusted the trigger again and its was at 3lbs and test it three more times all three times the scale said 3lbs! Can't do any better than that! Works great, I highly Recommend this one!!!

I found it pretty accurate for the price. As others have stated you need to place the trigger shoe well to keep it from slipping off but it's not as bad as some make it sound. I tested it on some known trigger pulls and its pretty accurate. You need to be steady on pulling it to get an good reading tho. If want to be able to discern ounces get a digital scale. I would say it is accurate +/- 2 ounces

Accurate scale from 8 oz to 8 lbs which is great for pistol and rifle trigger work. Most firearms fall within this range, and for the price you couldn't expect more. I have firearms with heavier than 8 lb triggers, but I am OK with the manufacturer's estimate for those that fall outside this scale's range. If they are that heavy, such as for DA, it doesn't really matter how heavy it is, at least for me. The sweet spot for triggers is in the 2-4 lb range, and this scale does that well enough. Other reviews confirm its accuracy. Some also mention that the rubber end can slip off your triggers and this is true, but I am getting consistent pulls when the gun is stable and the puller stays put. Not a big deal for a bargain pull scale. Some jig their guns to hold them still and that isn't a bad idea. I get a decent pull using my desk and no jig. The description says it is accurate to within 2 oz, and if you are that picky, get a digital or more expensive one. When its that light, I like the feel of the pull more than the actual weight. Getting within a certain range is my aim, and this scale can do that well. As titled, "great bang for the buck", and we have probably seen many of these in YouTube videos. Solid product, no complaints for the price range and what you get for $20. It does the job. A must for the home tinker-er!

While it doesn't give you the precision of a digital scale, this analog pull scale is actually pretty accurate. I checked it against my 500 gram scale calibration weight and it was spot on. It was also within an ounce of my calibrated kitchen scale with a 5lb weight. If you don't need better than +/- 1 ounce accuracy or precision, there's no need to spend more money for a digital pull scale.
