Review Spyderco Jumpmaster 2 Fixed Blade Knife Best Rating

Price Save 30% from $250 to $175

The original Spyderco Jumpmaster was developed for use by military jumpmaster personnel as an emergency cutting tool to free "hung" paratroopers. A distinguished member of our Salt Series of knives, H-1 steel blade and fully serrated SpyderEdge not only made short work of military static lines, it also offered the greatest edge retention of any knife we've ever made. The Jumpmaster 2 continues that tradition, taking the extreme cutting power of a fully serrated blade and packing it into a do-everything leaf-shaped profile that tackles all cutting tasks. Like the original, the Jumpmaster 2 is hollow ground and features a skeletonized full tang capped by Bi-Directional Textured fiberglass-reinforced-nylon handle scales. It comes complete with a snap-fit custom molded Boltaron sheath and a versatile G-Clip mount offering a full range of carry positions.

Anyone who has read reviews and/or advertisements about knives has seen the term "scary sharp". The serrated edge on this knife is one of the few that meets that description. The knife is light and its handle is comfortable in my XL hands. It is big enough to be useful as a knife, not a hatchet or splitting maul. The sheath is well made and holds the knife securely.
